Hello everyone!

I'm about to swap pipes, gut the airbox and rejet carbs, so I've purchased an Innovate A/F ratio gauge, here: http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/xcart/product.php?productid=16290&cat=262&page=1 to be more accurate.

I'm planning installing the sensor on the cross-pipe (pipe crossing both exhaust manifolds pipes). That means, drilling the pipe in order to weld the kit bung.

Here's my question, actually, two questions...

1- MUST I remove the right exhast manifold in order to drill the cross-pipe or can I drill the pipe without removing it?

2- How accurate would the gauge readings be, once installed on the cross-pipe?

Thank you!!!

Given that the bung will need to be welded to the crossover tube, if it were mine I'd remove it from the bike for that.

2nd question answered here: Trat
