The hoops are a double edged sword as the alloy ones are roadside plug-able, that is, fugly but repairable whereas the spoked hoops will leave one in a large pond with no oars.
I've not had issues keeping air in them either. Recent 3K ride and loss of air was 1.5 lbs, i.e., from 41 psi to 39.5 psi. Likewise for the rear. (btw the MOD designation is redundant as chy, wojo and I inherited ADMIN powers from the good Friar.)
