Mike, Nice looking ride, I see it has floating front brake discs. I wonder how many Speedmaster parts will fit it? Whats the reach like for the foot pegs? I know where you can get some brackets if you need them. When i was having cutting out issues with my 09 Speedmaster i test drove a Bird for 60 miles and almost bought it but the dealer wouldn't offer me enough for my brand new bike i had just bought from them 6 months earlier. Lots of power and once its rolling the weight difference wasn't an issue. Now you have to start "making it your own". Des.

thanks Des, does not seem to bad (the reach) but won't know for sure until i put a few miles on it, but i will let you know for sure. Not to many speedmaster parts fit the bike unfortunately, i wish they did. No matter, soon enough it will look like one of mine. :-) Also has ABS which should be interesting.

I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.

Congrats Mike on the new ride. A lot of good reviews on the Storm. Glad your staying around.
I've got close to 8000 kms on my Rocket this year even with the crappy weather we've had. Next year, hope to ride to Edmonton so I'll keep an eye out for a good looking Storm. Have fun.

Nice choice. ABS?
Ya Ron has ABS. Was a demo model, 2013 but with full two year warranty, i know the guys there and the demo's were all supervised rides, leader and trailer so no balls to the wall type stuff. Got a decent deal so bought it. Already have the shield and sissy bar coming in as well as the short TOR pipes, K&N for now and a re-tune, see how that goes before i think of anything else for the engine. Next Mustang seat and pillion and maybe a few other little goodies.

Beautiful Storm there edmspeedmaster! Enjoy the torque and HP right out of the box! My favorite of the T-Birds...maybe because it reminds of the Speedie! :-)

pretty much why this is th one i chose, allot like the speedy, i looked at the Rocket 3, allot of bike for just a couple hundred more bucks, but it was just not me, not at all and these thunderbirds are nice and low (i have 30" inseam) i can flat foot the bike with a bit of bend so thats good.

If you've not ordered the TOR's just yet might I suggest the D and D's I've had the short Tor's, while the sound is nice I didn't care for the short megaphone look. The D and D's are a bit quiter but have a nice "Big Triumph sound" Think Rocket. A direct bolt on and runs with the TOR map's. Very nice pipes, built in Texas. Just one man's opinion.

well picked her up tonight will post some pics later in other bikes i guess or something, but WOW! does this thing pull like a freight train or what! i cannot get over how much torque this bike has and on tap, no rpm required! handles like a very light bike, sit up a bit higher then i am used too with the corbin and SM but i think the new mustang seat i am getting will address some of that and spacers from spacer Jim for the risers. Otherwise i loved my SM to death, but i think i am gonna love this thing allot as well.
