I've turned more than a few people on to this site over the last six years or so. Not ONE has ever checked in that I know of! Oh well, I tried.
Same here. I just don't get it, personally, especially if said person I turned on to the sight owns or rides a Speedmaster or America.
Not only do I credit this forum with convincing this non-rider at the time what motorcycle I really wanted - enough so that I immediately signed up for a local MSF class, then got my endorsement by the State, and then that very week went to the dealer and ordered my '04 Speedmaster with driving light bar and heel-toe shifter - and having never been on the street on a motorcycle before, I had it delivered to my office where I could get home on it without having to get on the freeway.....
But my, my, where would I be without his forum as a resource and sounding board? Just so much good information here, not to mention the good company and prospects for making our own rallys.
I just don't get anybody with one of these bikes and a smartphone, and or a computer not wanting to join this forum and chime in every now and then.
I have one friend here, with an '03 America, that did sign up, but has never posted. He doesn't work, but he doesn't ride much either...afraid to get out of the shadows of his own home, I think. But he's always wanting me to check the forum for answers to this or that, or check the classifieds for him, etc.
I just can't sympathize a lot with that. He's got more time on his hands than I do!

But for real lurker so who just don't gave much to say? I have no problem with that. Maybe they're entertained without having to chime in. Maybe every now and then, one will.
I'm just glad we're still here after all these years. It is somewhat of a family unit, I think we could all agree on that.
