I just got back from Sturgis. Spent a lot to time riding a looking at Indian. 100HP! Liquid cooling lets your rev higher and last longer. It will attract the more technical riders who are looking at the present and future. I think they are going to sell a ton of them.
IMHO it is worth 3k more than a Speedmaster every day. In the power department, it will simply spank our little bikes.
Up close and personal all the Indians attention to detail, paint quality, and performance are selling folks. The Sturgis dealer was just steady selling bikes every single day. They had test rides at the dealership by the highway with lines.
Victory and Indian had all the line on display at Buffalo Chip with HD. They had a full block of display on Lazelle Street with Victory and Indian side by side with displays, presentations, Police rodeo riders, and tons of stuff to buy.
The Indian displays were jammed with folks. Most wearing the bar and shield as they literally drooled on the Indian fit and finish.
There is big change coming in market share. Polaris is bringing it.
