1970something or other I worked an Edgar Winter show and his brother showed up to play with him ( it wasn't a suprise to me it was a sheded part of show) and from that day on I was hooked big time !! Just a few yrs ago seen Edgar on tour with a group that included Farner so again was able to get backstage and shake hands with him. Which then resparked my love with the Winter brothers. Thru the yrs as a stagehand I met several people in the business some nice some not so much lol I will put the Winter brothers in the nice column a little offish but nice. He was one of the great blues masters and is a true loss to the blues world. Meeting him in the 70s I am amazed he lived this long!! RIP Johnny your body hurts no more!!
