Pictures of abandoned theatres.

Some are quite haunting. I posted my favourite below, based on it's architecture. Sad really... Some of you might even know one or more of these theaters.

Live to love, love to live.

I took a peek at all of them, and I agree, that's the best one!

It has always been a foolish dream of mine to buy an old theater (or movie theater) and return it to glory for either shows, movies, or own personal space!

Wish I had the dough to back up my dream... maybe one day.

Theaters will always have a special place in my heart.

Thanks for sharing! Great find!

Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.

On Boylston Street, in Boston is Steinway and Sons Piano.
Beneath it, is an abandoned concert hall... very cool.. little known (http://www.wecb-news.com/the-secret-underground-theater-on-boylston-street/)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grande_Ballroom

Two Grand Old ladies that were resurrected for a period and the music flowed from their stages. Not quite as elaborate as some pictured in this thread but still quite ornate ( who noticed at that point in history )

So lucky growing up in Windsor.
