Off topic but I noticed your post...I have a 2006 speedmaster...did you ever look at the two small wires that attach to the front of the coils...my bike would stop running in real wet weather...I pulled those wires and they were full of water...blew on them to dry them out...bike started and ran...I put dielectric grease on them and never had a problem after that
Yup, even built a shroud of plastic around them sort of a shield to help as well, but on a recent trip i had occassion to go through a good spell of rain and she kep running, not saying for sure it was the cdi, but it is pointing in that direction. Happy with the new one.
