Yep, I am officially without my left nut today. Bought a blue Indian Vintage. I'll be selling my much loved 02 America and a few of my antique motorcycles and cars to pay it down to an acceptable level. I'll continue to hang around here, though, so I apologize about that in advance! I wouldn't want to leave my good friends on here, even the right wing nut cases. I've joined an Indian site and the talk and help are good, just like on here. They even have a cumodgen who reminds me of the Friar! Cause I've still got an old Triumph, my love for them will continue, and I'll display both Indian and Triumph patches on my jackets. Hope to still ride with you fella's on occasion!

Yeah, I KNEW it was just a matter of time before one of these fantastic new Indians was sittin' in your garage, Rich! Congrats. I know you'll love it. (...and good to know you're stickin' around to not only give us all the updates on your new bike, but also on any news on the homemade elevator front TOO!!!)

What are ya gonna do when the courts make you change its name, because Indian is offensive? The Washington red skins have lost their copyright and now they are attacking the Kansas city chiefs. Soon it will be the motorcycle company too, and you will have to take the little Indian head off of the front fender and the gas tank and register the bike under another name brand. Because it is racist to call it Indian.

Wrong forum, Chad...wrong forum.
THOUGH, I'm thinkin' IF Polaris can talk some LAW ENFORCEMENT agencies into switchin' from their Harleys, Beemers and Hondas and use their Indians instead, you'd probably have ANOTHER thread you could start over there TOO!!!

(...and gee, I certainly hope you don't think this little joke here was any form of "bashing"...though of course that wasn't YOUR word for what I supposedly do too much of around here, it was somebody else's!!!)

My son and I, the one who bought Dave's Dads bike, put about 300 miles on our bikes today, with a stop at the new Triumph dealer in Quincy Ill. to put louder pipes on his America. (He's lovin it Dave, and the louder pipes are even better!)
I always tried to get my dad to put louder pipes on there but he was never interested... not like mine, just not stock...

...I actually bought one, kinda hard to believe myself. Had to pinch myself when I was on the road for the first twenty miles of riding it home...
Love that feeling!

Nope, it's a HIM. I'm gonna call him Charley, after my Uncle Charlie, who has been gone for a few years now. He is the one out of the family who would have been totally pleased to see me have an Indian, as he had one in the 60s. Just on old bike, that he traded an old car for, and was totally unreliable. His older brother got it running for him and he drove it for a while. He always talked about that bike. And I'm gonna take pictures pretty soon, I'm just so poor at the posting process that I drag my feet a little.
