You don't seem to get that just because it is your point of view doesn't automaticly make it the right point of view just because it is yours and you bash people that disagree with you as though because you said it it must be gospel. I am not incongruent unless you mean things like my views on smoking laws, and there I am still not so as I prize my ethics above my pleasure. As far as bashing HD goes I suppose I should not bash them so badly since 99 out of 100 of them ever made are still on the road today. The other one made it home. Someone has to keep the trailer manufacturers in business.

Aaah! You see THIS is where you are assuming WAY too much and reading things not meant NOR implied in my texts, in regard to that whole "value your ethics over your pleasure" concept of yours.

NEVER have I meant on ANY fashion EVER in this forum that you were in any way "shifty" or not "a man of your word".

BUT, I feel you have mistaken the concept of being "Forthright" with the concept of "Unbending", and those concepts are NOT the same thing at all.

Once again Ian, it's NOT so much that I "think I'm right all the time", it's that I've always SCOFFED at the those who feel THEY are "right all the time".

And IF you noticed, not ONCE did I EVER start a freakin' thread in that "other" forum", MOST of which are nothing but rants espousing some "heartfelt truth" by its originator and MOST often, as I earlier stated, VERY negative in tone.

(...and thus the very reason I don't even bother going there anymore...it became a waste of my time AND I got extremely tired of all that negatively espoused there)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
