Ken is the wire the same length? mine is pretty easy to get to with the freak kit just goes straight up under the seat, really easy to unplug and change if i have too? looks like a decent price too, just same plug and play or?



The Ricks is plug and play, however unless you want to drop the engine, plan on cutting off the old connector (regulator side, of course) in order to remove the old R/R from the bike.

The new cable was long enough to route to the starboard side. Since the pic was taken of my install, I also included a black zip-tie on the bottom of the starboard side cover bracket to keep the cable off of the engine.

It is as easy as separate the connector, unbolt the old one, clip the old cable, bolt on the new unit, route the cable, pack the connector with dieletric grease, get out your multi-meter, fire it up, and marvel at the improvement...
