The plastic rachet style rivets are meant for onetime use. I just replaced mine on my 06 America. ONe of the rivet busted during removal but managed to salvage one rivet. However the new procom CDI is thicker than the stock OEM CDI and the old rivet wasn't long enough (1/2 inch) to hold. Electrical tape will suffice for the time being but I have some new longer (3/4 inch) rivets on order at Grainger. $4 for a pack of 10.
