Recently I saw a post about the oil filter getting damaged by road debris causing a loss of oil and damage to the engine. Has anyone fabricated something to protect the oil filter? I looked under my America to see if there was a way to fabricate a shield of some sort to possibly eliminate this issue. I know someone must have done something to protect the oil filter. Anyone that has done this I would appreciate their input.
