I have been watching this thread - all the while looking for a used star myself. It started as looking for a used one via Craig's list. The search lasted nearly 3 months. The goal was to find a 1300 Tourer or Deluxe at a steal. I had given up and decided to buy a new leftover roadstar at what I considered a very good price. On Monday, a friend and co-worker returned to work following a lengthy illness, telling me he has given up riding. Weather permitting, I'll be bringing home an immaculate 06 stratoliner. She's huge but equally pretty. I may dub her Adele. And although I'll do my best to give her a new home and plenty of love, I have no intention to cast my beloved J-Lo into the hands of a stranger - for I love her still.
