In the past I have used Stabil during winter storage, but over the last winter the carbs still fouled up...I drained the tank, filled with fresh gas with Seafoam; it took approx 50miles but that cleared the rubbish and saved a carb strip down. OK a fresh tank with Stabil may have achieved the same but then it shouldn't have allowed the problem in the first place!
