Let me start with this... I do not own one, I am simply passing along the information.
The Bonnevilleamerica.com FB page had a great post today and I wanted to share it within this community as I know some folks don't do FB.

A guy was looking for an option other than the Procom unit, he located this company (IgniTech) and as it turns out they have an option for the Triumph Americas.

Here is what he wrote and some pics to go along with it:
Here's some pics of my newly fitted Ignitech TCIP4 ECU/CDI, gave it a test ride today and bike runs better than it ever did. After the OEM part clapped out I decided to get a procom hp ECU....that failed after 2 yrs. I'm sure the position (above the engine) is the reason for this. As you can see in the pics the adaptor allows for fitting under the seat.

I asked if there was anything specific about ordering one for our bikes. his reply:
I just told them the year of my bike...you do need to purchase the connector adaptor...15 eu.

I sure like that "extension cord" (adaptor) that allow the unit to mount under the seat. I wonder if it (the adaptor) would work properly on either a OEM or Procomm CDI.

It should since they all have to plug into the bikes harness so they should have the same plug and pin configuration.

Finally, someone makes the extension cord!

It is not the same connection on both ends. The Ignitech unit uses its own connector. The extension/adapter is basically Triumph to Ignitech.

So the Ignitech can't be plugged directly into the harness and mounted where the old CDI was?

Awesome! Every time I get stopped in traffic in the Atlanta summer heat I can just feel that Procom (and other things) baking.

Mike at TTP is now carrying these and putting his own maps in them. I ordered one so will let you know how it goes. He will map stage 1 or stage 2 and then pretty much plug and play i hope.

Hello...I am the person who purchased the ignitech.(my photos) I can tell you that this ECU runs perfect, ticks over much better than procom and runs sweet. The main advantages (imo)is that it can be located under the seat and the low cost. It's interesting that TTP now stocks these and can re-map them. Looking forward to hearing your results edmspeedmaster

Darn stephen wish you were here a few days ago :-) i was no sure what the factory map was like and if it would be good with our bikes or not, found out while speaking to them that TTP will be selling them so ended up going over there becasue of their maps, there suppose to be really good so here is hoping. But its good to know that the ignitech factory map will work fine in our bikes, a little less then what TTP is selling them for (paying for his maps) how are the cold starts and so forth? any speical reroting or anything to get it under the seat?

Sorry Mike! Yes the bike runs fine on factory map...with the procom I had trouble starting from cold now it starts without choke (this time of year anyway)and starts on the button. The procom seemed to run a little lumpy, ignitech nice n smooth and pulls well through all the gears. You do get the software with the ECU to do your own maps. Routing it is no problem and there is no pinching when under the seat it's also kept cool due to the air box induction. At the moment I just have it duct taped to the box, trying to come up with a better way. I contacted Mike @TTP and I may in the future get it re-mapped as i'm not very good at it! The software provided seems quite comprehensive compared to procom with the option of blocking sensors etc....you can see this software on their website.Hope all goes well for you.

Well received the ignitech ECU tuned by TTP the other day and got her mounted, mounted it under the seat for now, bike fired right up no issues, other then running out of fuel on my test run and freaking out! all went well when i went to reserve, just a short scoot but seemed fine, engine note a bit different and throttle curve seemed more linear then before, will write more about it later.

Do the carb bikes benefit from this?

yes carb bikes can benefit from this. If you are not rnning any mods and your current cdi is working fine i would leave it alone but otherwise with mods etc its another one of those "can do"s but unless your current CDI is toast its not a "must do"

This is the alternative to procom that I mentioned in reply to your other post.

Good luck and report back.

Ok thanks that's what I was starting to look in to other options. I have read so many problems with the procom. but now I hate to buy them twice once now and once again in a year or two when I do BB and cam.
