Myke, I'm a Metz man as well but just put a set of Michelins on the Tbird. Many Tbird owners complained about the Metz short life on the Burd. When I bought the bike it had 7200 mikes on it and the original Metz were toast
So far so good on the Michelins, don't think you can go wrong with that brand.
The America needs tires as well, damn this hobby is getting real expensive
