Can the foam padding be replaced in them? I've been all over the net without any luck so far

Shoei says it's removable and washable. May need to contact them directly (or a major vendor) if you need to replace. I use http://www.helmetshop.com/ , but there are others.

From what I'm seeing it's the newer ones that are removable. I can get the cheek pads out but that's it

I contacted shoei and they pretty much told me to throw it out because you are suppose to replace helmets every five yrs
