Well not sure what happened, and i have searched and nothing specific so if when i turn the key but not start the bike and the oil pressure light does not come on does that mean the sensor is toast or a bad connection or bulb? I know my oil pressure is fine because i have a manual one. This happened right after i changed the oil.

Not seen that problem before. I would start with the cheapest easiest (bulb, connections, the sensor). Good luck.

figured it out, wire got pinched under the dash somehow.

After Blackwind's fiasco about his oil filter and ensuing no oil pressure, I'm glad I got me an LED red indicator that airplanes can see at 20,000 feet. That thing will catch your attention even in the sun.
Who actually stares at a gauge riding down the road, and if ya lose pressure, whattaya have, maybe 30 seconds?
Easy mod for 5 bucks.

Wade, did you replace the oil pressure bulb in the speedo? That's looks tiny.

Nope, don't have one on my speedo, I just replaced the one on the chrome console, perfect fit, same size as the stock lens.

Ok.. I got confused by all the flashing lights.  I was thinking of the itty bitty engine check light on the EFI speedo which is totally irrelevant .
