Wow Keith that is a bummer for sure. I Know how much you like that bike. Gotta be a tuff pill to swallow after all those miles a piece of crap does in the oil filter.
I've read a few good suggestions here, one thing I wouldn't do is get rid of her. Even if it meant just parking her in the corner. There a lot of miles and a lot of smiles on the ole girl.
