So, my America lost the blue high-beam plastic cover that sits on the instrument panel - it looks like the glue that holds it in place just gave way.

So, now I am looking for a replacement - any ideas on best options for finding a new cover?

Does anyone have a damaged or unused panel that they can pull the cover from?

those are not glued in, they are just pushed into a rubber grommet. they pop out easily and far too often. you can get them from any triumph dealer, they are pretty cheap.

problem is people forget or miss that they are actually grooved to match the light casing underneith , its like a key, they should only go in one way. then i turn it a bit, not sure if it helps buti have never lost one.

Stop playing with it!!!! you will go blind LOL

Lol - thanks.

Definitely will make sure the rest are secure - dealership cost is $12 for the piece.

I secured mine with a little clear silicon when I replaced a lost one. I haven't lost one since.

I've lost a couple of the coloured lenses. Once took a piece of clear plastic, cut it to shape and painted it the appropriate colour and reglued it to the chrome plastic retainer.

The lens separates too easily from the plastic holder so I've reglued mine with super glue from the inside being careful not to smear the glue on the lens.
