underpowered....WHAT???? i have yet to lose a race to a hardly davidsome, even with my wife on the back, i still shut most of them down??? i dont understand what you meant, underpowered??? when i first got mine, i raced a guy who was on a wideglide all souped up with those tuned exhust and all the goodies and he couldnt get away from me, it hurt his feelings so bad he sold that bike, bought a full dresser and hasnt mentioned raceing since. UNDERPOWERED??? i dont know what you mean??? admit it!!! you couldnt help yourself, you felt the need to be one of the crowd, rather than stand out on your own, you just couldnt resist the temptation to be like the others, admit it now, it had nothing to do with power, and more to do with belonging to that hog thing. i understand i sometimes find my mind wandering over there but then my senses take over ( i have that built in sense that reminds me who i am) and wont let me go back there again no matter what the crowd sez. h.d. is one of the most underpowered bikes on the mkt. so i know it had nothing to do with power, so it must have been that brainwash thing that h.d. has on those that cant beat it. BONNEVILLE AMERICA handles like a sport bike, sits like a cruiser. and beats just about any h.d. out there( i dont consider the v-rod a h.d., its a porshe for crying out loud) off the line and in the 8th mi. i would put my B.A. up against just about any stock h.d. and i havnt done anything but change my cans(scepters) and tuned my carbs. so i know it wasnt about power. it had to be the spell that them h.d. wizards cast on you that caused you to succumb to their will???
if it was about power you might have wanted to look at the yami roadstar or honda anything or kawi anything they all look like h.d. and are excepted by all them h.d. riders today and you coulda bought one of them, put a springer on it and still walked away with $$$ in your pocket, IT WASNT ABOUT POWER!!!! i wont ever believe that!!! it was about joining the crowd and you need to admit that to yourself, not me or anybody here, just to yourself. cuz your gonna wake up one mornin and ask yourself why you didnt keep the best bike you will ever own.
