It's a given that most of the want ad's are for HD's. They have sold over 1,000,000 new bikes in the last 4 years. 317,00 in 2005 alone. When you have 75% market share, you will have the majority of the used bikes for sale as well. 8 pages of HD want ads doesn't equate to poor product quality or no demand, it equates to how many are in the marketplace.
It's true, at this time HD resale is not as great as it was 4-5 years ago, but it is still a heck of a lot better than my Triumph's resale value.
Enjoy you new Softail. I have found that owning a Harley is a enjoyable experience. Save up your money and buy another Triumph as well. We'll let you back into the Triumph club again!
