I'm not so sure that Harleys are continuing to hold their resale value lately. With the Baby boomers induced spike in sales of Harleys passing, the used market for Harleys just isn't what it used to be. Lately I've been seeing some lower prices on used Harleys around here, with the big touring models taking the biggest hit. Even the new ones aren't getting over MSRP here in Tucson anymore even though there's just one dealer in town.

But I wouldn't buy a bike with an eye on it's resale value. I guess if you switch bikes every couple of years it's something you have to watch out for, but I tend to keep what I buy. Same goes for cars.
