Like I've said before, there's nothing wrong with a Harley, but there is something right with a Triumph.
But, one shouldn't confuse bucket loads of torque for power. The HD engine produces a lot of torque, but the same cam be said for the old one cylinder John Deere. You'll find your top speed is about the same as the 800CC Triumph, but it takes a while to get there because of all the iron you have to spool up.
The new springer frontend is a lot better than the 1921 version and it looks pretty good. I think it would look even better with maybe 5 degrees more rake and extended about 4 inches, but maybe I'm just old fashoned.
One thing that nobody with a Bonneville dirivative can dispute is that the HD comes with a better horn.
