Hi everyone
Pretty new to motorcycles and triumph's. Last fall I bought a 2013 thunderbird Storm, about a month or two ago my wife bought a 2010 America. Today I picked up a rolling chassis from a 2007 speedmaster, my plan is to turn it into a chopper, stripped down to the bare essentials, stretched front, lowered back. I would like to put a springer front end on it, so I am here to read and learn from all of you on how this can be done. As a note of interest I was an automotive mechanic in my younger years but have been a carpenter for almost 20 years now, so I am not an idiot when it comes to mechanics but I have alot to learn about motorcycles and especially a project like this. I have no end date for this, I really have no start date either, it will happen over time when opportunity presents itself, had no plan on buying a frame anytime soon but this kind of fell into my lap so I went for it.
