I avoided FB until recently but now have an account. I don't use it for social networking much but what I have found is that FB is a deep well of sourced out information on topics of interest. I find people with similar interests, then follow their posts to links and threads that expedite my own personal research. What I've found is that EVERYTHING is on FB and as a result I rarely even Google anymore. No, I'm not much of a socialite on FB, but the information I've found there is amazing. It instantly became a very important tool for me to use as a knowledge base.
