Watch you tawkin bout Willis? Ian means that that the outer and inboard case are married together and then machined as one, resulting in a perfect match up. A replacement will hopefully be in close enough tolerance, and you will be good to go. The answer will be down the road if it's good, and sooner if not. With modern machining tech, you have a lot better chance of a good match than 25 years ago. Use a good assembly grease, like the stuff that comes with a new cam. oil breaks it down after run in and it will lube normally then. And good luck.
