I've been using this white stuff from Bel Ray for years and its about time to get some more. just wondering what everyone uses and if theres something that is preferred. I was also thinking of going with an oiler, any thoughts?
Anything that acts to be a grit and dirt adhesive will probably create wear. I have gone to a bake it on, Teflon/Moly product (Brownells) for both sprockets and a spray-on dry lube (for gun actions) on the chain. Sure stays cleaner, anyway.
I wipe my chain down with a rag soaked in we40,kerosene,lps and moly chain lube that I mix in equal parts and keep in a squirt bottle. it dries overnight and keeps the chain clean and bright.
