Mine is doing the same thing at 66,000 miles....I was riding into work when a redlight caught me. I held the clutch in as usual, and the bike just quit. Tried to start, but nothing. Put in neutral released clutch, and it started, but no headlight. Drove on into work with no headlight, switched key switch off, back on, and nothing...no headlight, starter or anything...I DO have instrument lights and neutral indicator light, and the same single "click" from underneath the tank when I push the starter button....HELP! Guess wife is coming after me tomorrow when I get off work....AARRGGHH...(Problems coming regularly now with this bike)....
