Sort of a canine Mother Teresa. Very sweet.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

That's an awesome dog. The original owner had real treasure and missed it completely because of their selfishness (presumably).

always like feel good stories with animals....they are so much better because you know there is no "hidden agenda" (well i suppose a dog bone is in order here) they just do.

I see stuff like this and just dont have strong enough words to describe how touched I feel buy it. I was brought up to believe animals dont have souls,part of my spiritual learning was deeply flawed I think.

The way I see it, dogs love so unconditionally and will put your life ahead of theirs how can they not have a soul and go to a better place when they pass. I was taught they pass early because they got it right and get to go to heaven and be with God while we still have to stay behind and practice.

I have believed in a divine spark in pet animals for yrs now. Sort of a pool of one individual soul that they are all drawn from. Ridiculous possibly but no doubt that there is something there.

Well actually Ian, you see, the DNA of the canine species is genetically wired to begin its decline and ultimate demise much sooner than are....uuuummmm...than are....AH hell, maybe you're right AFTER ALL here!!!!!
