After much effort of SRS's part of turning up parts and having them chromed, and me tapping threads, burning fingers on hot metal, and bleeding profusley from a wrench that slipped, I've discovered that you can't fit turn signals below your driving lights if you have OEM crash bars installed!
Even if they're mounted up hard against the light (instead of using mounts as I do) they'll still hit the crash bars on full lock... doesn't matter if it's the standard pumpkins or large kuryakyn silver bullets. (Haven't tried anything smaller.) No idea if aftermarkets bars will do the same, but I've no reason to think they won't.
I'm working on a method to overcome this - more as it happens.

I had this problem on the MA's bracket. I have to go to a smaller signal to clear the dresser bar. I put the dresser bar on and I had the pumpkins mounted to the MA's bracket and they would hit the dresser bar. I had to go to a small JP cycle bullet type signal. Pain in the neck

Interesting Sandman, That was one of the first mods I did.
move the pumpkins underneath the stock Tri driving lights.
I have the Tri engine dresser bars (crash bars).
My blinkies clear by about 1/8 inch. Looks like factory job.
Back in the days of the old BA.COM forum I had alot of pics posted. I haven't tried to post on the new forum.
Rather spend my time with the bike.

FC, I have two thoughts looking at the picture of your bike: 1. If you squint, the silhouette of your lights looks like Mickey Mouse. 2. Otherwise, it looks like a bug-eyed monster. B E M would be a cool license plate for your bike.

Same here - about 1/8 inch clear between the dresser bar and the OEM signals when hard mounted directly to the light bar. Got even a little more room when I changed to the Deuce signals.

Just an idea, but, how about mounting the turn signals on your crash bars?

Hadn't thought about putting them on the bars Soren... interesting idea but I really want them back below the driving lights. Had them there before the accident... put the 'bars on after it and only just got round to making the mounts. Thinking of mounting them on the ends of the light bar instead, or using a small plate mounted under the lightbar bolt to allow the signals to be mounted below and 1/2" forward of the driving lights bolt. Gotta play with it.

Hmm wonder why mine don't clear then? I'm using the silver bullets which have a smaller diameter than the pumpkins and I couldn't fit em there to save my life. Interesting indeed.

Funny you should say that because that's what I thought when I first put them on. They're growing on me though.

Yes you can! there's no problem fitting turn signals below the driving lights. Check out my photos. I'll post one there of my front end
