What George states about the crankcase breather makes good sense to me,I always assumed we put them on there just cause it looks cool 
oh jeez. i didn't have to reassemble mine, but the foam just kinda collapsed like my leg rests on it while riding. and i'm sure you all can agree how impossible that would be.
i do have a little oneon my crank case breather line which seems alright. i have the line running straight up but i guess i'll take it off and see what it looks like.
