It was a balmy 58 degrees (f) in the Pacific Northwest today and bikes were everywhere as I sat at work watching them go by out the window. The good news is I got a call from the shop that my bike is ready to pick up. Man it is expensive to have done what a lot you do on your own. (I need to move closer to Z). I feel a ride coming on this weekend. I have some new powder coated bits and such so I'm very excited. I'll post pics soon.

I finally got out on Monday. Man did it feel good.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

I COULD get out and ride but I'd have to put on the SCRAMBLER tires to get through the mud to get to the road!

Happy for ya, Brent! Great weather here but too much sand and gravel on the roads. Like Gordie, I want to see pics of this latest version of your bike.

Well, I got to ride her home and well, the wife left, so I have this picture for the moment. [image] [/image] You can see the fork shrouds (Thanks Dave), The rack on the back, new turn signals and the burly brand foot pegs. You can not see the new risers and freshly powder coated bars. They are one inch higher and an inch back. I'm not sure yet what I think, but the ride home was good.

Excellent! Those don't look like any shrouds I ever had I got mine out for a minute this week too... my tank is empty and I don't know if I want to fill it again before I swap all my tins. I probably will though.

I got that ride in and I said it would be rain or shine...it was dry in town, but I had to go up into the mountains...oh well, rain it was. I was soaked to the bone. Stopped in a little town called Vernonia, ate a Chili Burger and had some coffee; about 120 miles and it was all good.[image] [/image]
