I have thought of making my Maverick Lower seat ride on springs.

If you want to cover the shipping you are welcome to have my old one? (http://www.bonnevilleamerica.com/forums/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=543762&page=0&fpart=all&vc=1)

It comes with a mounting bar that sits across the rear fender but you have to drill the 'nose' of the frame for two mounting bolts. It is in pretty good condition, I swapped for a corbin simply because I had a spare.
