Correct, entire lens, reflector, bulb assembly comes out. All gless (so put away safely just incase you want to use again). Put in sealed beam, make sure lettering on bulb facing properly. Hardest part was getting that Gd retaining ring back in, other than that easy job. Do not regret doing this at all
