The lenses are symetrical so you can mount the same one on either side. This means the nearside will get a bit more and the offside a bit less light. So, you may have to aim the light a bit to the left or right depending on where you are. I put a $7 aftermarket light bucket on the OL's trainingwheels bike that took a $4.95 car headlight. It worked better and lasted hundreds of times longer than the $89 original POS.
