Any idea where to get chrome exhaust clamps that are an inch or so wide? The stock ones are 3/4" wide and leave gaps where you can feel the exhaust leak. I have stock pipes, for now, and tried tightening them but they still leak. Both sides leak but is much worse on the left side.

Loosend, I found exactly what you are looking for. Custom Chrome has a couple of models. I got them at a Big Dog dealer. The stock ones also leave about a 3/4" space when tightened so I was never able to get rid of the leak. The Custom Chromes are full circle, wider and more duable. Check their website. http://www.customchrome.com/catalogs/ccp/0694.htmlYou might even check your local HD dealer

What diameter clamp did you use? The America's pipes appear to be 2" in diameter but I want to be sure not to get the wrong size. You can get clamps in 1 11/16", 1 3/4", 2", etc. Some sizes are pretty close to eachother. Thanks for your time.

I had the same leak, a little dab of hi-temp silicon sealant under the slipon took care of it.

I installed BUBs pipes and siliconed them alot so no leaks anymore. Great sound. Also, they slide further on the header pipe than the Triumphs so theres more overlap too. I re-used the original clamps as the ones with the BUBs are weak.
