Ya see, with a telescopic fork and how it dives during braking using the front brake, the whole "geometry" of a hack setup changes causing the steering to become less stable by pushing the vehicle to lean to one side, and which the operator must then take corrective measures to counter with an opposite input to the handlebars. And whereas, with the inherent anti-dive properties of an Earles-type front end, this doesn't take place nearly as much.



Correcta-Mundo, it's about being able to safely stop. In my state you must also get an extra endorsement to your Dr. Lic. to legally ride with an attached sidecar. I have only rode one, but I gotta say, it is a lot different. I suggest you endeavor to try before you buy.
