Ride report!!!!

Ok kiddies.. the things I do for you guys.. jeez!...
This morning while the squids were yet to terrorize the travelers on 400 north on their way to test their mad yankin' and bankin' skills in the north Georgia mountains and the HOG riders were still in bed dreaming of the new stickers they bought for their brain bucket and which doo rag to wear too match their sleeveless T's. Then the load up of as much beer as necessary to provide for their epic 100 mile run and the adventure bikers were busily loading enough weapons and survival supplies into their titanium saddle bags for the impending zombie apocalypse, the PPPH's (pedal pushing pistachio heads) were already downing energy bars and drinks for their ongoing rolling tribute to the Lance Armstrongs of the world.
I was out and about checking the roads for our upcoming event.....
Hwy 19 is in good shape... aside from the toxic(?) chemical spill that seems to saturate one lane from Turners Corner all the way to lodge on the top of the mountain.. ( I can't imagine how big something had to be to carry that much.. whatever.. to cover 10 miles of highway). 180 has some pretty rough spots on the 19 end with the multitude of twisties while certainly still ride-able, I wouldn't push the lean angle too much till you know what you're getting into. Highway 60 on the Lumpkin county side is still in the same horrible shape it was last year... many a tar snake ( I think they are breeding) but still fast enough to get the adrenaline pumping. On the upside it seems the gravel sweepers have been out in force cause i seen nary a patch in all my travels.

Looking forward to it.. till then.
