Once again Michael, all I can say here is that I've found the TEC center stand to be a pretty stout unit overall, they come powder-coated, and I THINK they're actually manufactured here in the good ol' U.S. of A...though this last part I'm not 100% sure about.
AND once again, I know for a fact that they DON'T ground near as quickly as do the Rivco units while you're throwin' your bike around in the twisties...which while this may not be of great concern to riders who cruise more than ride aggressively in the twisties(of which I do the latter quite often while also practicing my late apexing skills on each and every turn in the road...well, UNLESS I have to slow down to a snail's pace after gettin' stuck behind a freakin' Harley rider or three in said twisties, and who wouldn't know what "late apexing" means even if it jumped up and bit him on their big fat ass!

), THIS issue was the major reason I went with the TEC product over Rivco's, and with the better price point of the TEC units being what I consider an "added bonus" here.
