You don't really get to sit back and watch much. They are always looking for volunteers. I've helped coach 3 years now and I think this year the kids have surpassed my skill level.

Being in the same geographic arena (pun intended) and acting as a coach you get the suggestion. Growing up we had a family where the mom dressed in her mink coat would move up and down the boards yelling at her son, berating the coaches for not playing her son enough and discrediting any call the ref would make. Everyone in Riverside refers to that type of parent as a Mrs. Txxx to this day. How would you like to grow up with that legacy?
