I bought the light bar and harness from a member, the plug portion that hooks up near the spine is missing so i have three wires there. I am pretty sure i can just cut off the end attached to the bike and put different plugs on there to match them up but was not sure if there was any special thing about the OEM plugs, (fuse inside or something like that) the relay portion etc is all there and good. So can i just hook the wires up that match on both ends?

If ya don't get an answer before the end of the day. I'll take a look at mine when I get home and let ya know what I find out.

cut and splice, nothing special. I made plugs out of some weatherproof automotive plugs I found somewhere.

Copied this from the tech vault (electrical section) from in a post Moe put in for Z above (shy fellow). Note the wire colours and placement. Just tie the wires together. I used this to wire in a headlight relay to run my Silver Bullet running lights. Tied them into the high beam circuit.

Reverse the location of 87 and 30. 30 has the potential. 87 allows flow to the load when the contact closes within the relay. Jumping those two will power the lights. jump from 87 to 30. As 30 is hot...
