We developed a V-8 rotary engine in 1967 hill jumping.

That's the same link as Paul posted. If you can try a repost... I'd love to see that glass cylinder engine.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Cool, although I would have liked more info on how compression was maintained with the cylinders rotating separately from the head.

Yep Paul, I had to Wiki the term here, myself.

Quote:

"The sine wave or sinusoid is a mathematical curve that describes a smooth repetitive oscillation."

I inserted the word Sinusoidal into conversations twice this past week. Once describing the vagaries of the HVAC business....as you might have guessed the reaction was somewhat of a blank stare. The second was using it as more of a scientific term to describe an old buddies favourite saying in high school "That's Slick as Snot!" Who knew it was a homonym?

He was the first person I knew to own a Triumph back in the 60's so I guess he was "Sinusoidal"
