The problem occurs at most throttle positions, but is most noticable when cruising at steady speeds - not twisting the throttle at all.

There is no backfire, or audible retort, but a "stutter" may be a way of describing what is happening.

I always run 93 octane...

Chattanooga's Big River Grill and Brewing Works have some really nice micro-brewed beers... I used to make my own before I became so lazy. I really enjoyed the Munton and Fison(sp?) Premium malt extract to make a really mellow and hoppy dark beer. I never had much success with light beers (too easy to infect the batch(???). I really enjoy the wheat beers, Spatten, Pshor Brau, etc. I can't spell 'em, but I sure can drink 'em.
