Thanks guys!

I did about 120 miles today. At 50 degrees without heated gear, it's a little cool on the Indian.

It has about 750 miles on it now and has had the 500 mile oil change. Bottom line, it is a torque monster. It seems to have torque everywhre, especially at low RPMs. It seems to be impossible to lug the engine. When you get on it, the front end gets a little light and it is MOVING. I can't say enough about the engine, but we all kind of expected it after the reveal in Daytona. It also sounds great. It has a nice growl when accelerating.

The real surprises are the handling and comfort. For an 800+ pound machine it feels much lighter. The handling is VERY good. I was finally able to drag both floorboards last week. There is a lot of ground clearance before you touch down, and it is also very quick in and out of turns.

The suspension is very nice. You glide over rough spots in the road and there are no jarring, teeth-rattling hits.

Even more of a surprise is the stock leather seat. I have done a few 2 to 3 hour rides without stopping and there is no discomfort and in fact it is quite comfy.

The thing is a rolling work of art. It is beautifully made with a high attention to detail of fit and finish. It gets a lot of attention at stop lights and gas pumps. You guys on Speedies and Americas know what I mean!

The only beef I had was the height of the windshield. Last night my wife & I took about 1.75 inches off of it. It turned out pretty darn nice for the first time cutting a screen.

I'm very happy with it. If you get a chance to demo one you should. Just be prepared to want to get one.
