They've tried before and it never works, the V-Rod, Buell, and the recent Sportster XR1200. We'll see how well this is received, it will depend on dealer support. They're used to selling $20,000 touring bikes so these 750s might be seen as just bait-and-switch bikes to get 'em in the door. I can hear the salesmen now "...oh, yea those are the new foreign market bikes, not real Harleys."
