Heard Triumph was coercing dealers into # of square feet, dedicated floor space to Triumph, and to move and buy a certain level of accessories, (read Harley boutique like) or give up the dealership. Dealership around here that loved Triumph was forced out of business.
What company with a dealer network doesn't do this? It's always about branding, floor space and service. Autos, construction equipment, bikes, even clothing, damn near every manufacturer does it. Does anyone really believe GM sells the autos reported, no they're loading the dealers, ie an auto is counted as a unit sold to GM when it leaves the factory.
