In the 70, as I remember they were still pretty much all different but when the 80s hit (maybe late 70s) they were all the same with different trim packages. I remember Chrysler being even worse with the K cars. The 600, 300, Reliant, Aries, NYer, Caravelle , and probably some I can't remember were all the same car with different trim and header panel.
