I bought me a new toy Wednesday, it's orange and black but has 4 wheels and 4 wheel drive! I bought a new Kubota L4600 tractor. It is a 46 HP hydrostatic drive with front end loader, 6 foot Woods rotary cutter, 6 foot box blade and a 20' equipment trailer to haul it all on! I bought it down below Richmond, Virginia saving thousands of dollars and all I will end up paying tax on will be the trailer. I couldn't beat the deal I got. I am amazed at how much cheaper they sell tractors down south compared to up north. I am really looking forward to working it. My old 1949 John Deere model M is getting a little tired and I could really use a front end loader and the other implements that came with the package deal. I just need to decide if I want to keep JD and restore or sell.

Lol Actually gray not really black except for the tires and seat. I only have about a half hour of time on it so far but that will change this weekend.

Them kabota tractors are good little machines. You will like working it.

Keep the John Deere and restore it. Look into the restored tractor thing. There are rallies, shows, and parades, its actually a very fun and interesting world , and that ther "M" model will fit right right in.

Good purchase! Have lots of fun with it. The front end loader is so useful. Have a small "B" series Kubota, 20HP 4 wheel drive with a loader option. Great work horse, portable platform/ladder and so much more.

I bought a Kubota RTV900 utility vehicle two years ago with a front snow plow and it makes clearing my 250 yard driveway a breaze. My uncle used to be out there for 3 or 4 hours clearing the driveway. I can clear my driveway and my brothers two driveways in about a half hour. I also have been cutting down trees and big trrees too, I cut them up into 12-15 foot sections and drag them down into my burn pile with ease. It pulls like a little tractor as well. I am liking the Kubota's so far!

Is there a backhoe option? That would be so cool. Congrats, enjoy, sounds useful and fun.

Yes, there is a backhoe option and I really wanted one but at $9,000 more it was a little too much right now. I may look for a used one that will work on it though. I could really put the backhoe to use!
